Alora Johnson - Head Girl

At prize giving last year I was surprised and honoured to gain the role of Head Girl. It’s a fantastic opportunity to put into practice and discover more about leadership, not only in the school but in the local community. I’ve already been lucky enough to get involved in activities that have arisen from this position within the Marlborough Youth Forum and our school council as well. It’s been great to become a part of a variety of aspects within the school, and also working alongside Robert, I certainly look forward to continuing this role in what looks to be a very busy but exciting final year at Queen Charlotte.

Robert Riach - Head Boy

Being appointed Head Boy for 2011 came as a sudden, unexpected, but none the less, pleasant surprise.  It is a huge honour for me, and I am ‘amped’ to rise to the challenge.  Together with Deputy Head Girl and Boy, Holly and Aidan, and faithful companion Alora, Head Girl; I will endeavour to stand as a good role model and encourage the sporting and academic excellence Queen Charlotte College has to offer.  I am looking forward to an exciting year (including a little bit of basketball here and there).
